Cheshire
I created this art piece to show my liking of the chaotic character of Cheshire, as he is friends with the mad hatter he has a crazy personality and he can be seen as creepy.
I used pastels and a reference picture to look at where the stripes were on his face and how he smiles to help create this piece. I used blending tools and my fingers to blend the colors together to make the eyes and fur have a different texture.
I created this art piece to show the fear of being alone in the dark, and insanity. Some people believe in this creepypasta and believe he is real. And for them it's a real fear and I have a fear of being alone in a forest at night, alone.
I made this with red acrylic paint and some white and black to add other shades, the words around the edge were things I was always told, never walk alone in the dark.
Slender Man
Foggy Forest
My inspiration for this piece is from childhood i suppose trauma because I got lost in a haunted forest walk, with a friend and we were there for two hours until we were found, and it was really creepy.
The process I used watercolor and lots of blue's and black to mix together to make the darker shades and I used pain brushes to paint it using more or less water depending on how light or dark i needed the part I was working on. I used the wet on dry technique to make the trees on the wash.
Mother's Rings
The piece is of my mother's rings she gave me, I can't wear them except on a necklace and They're positioned ontop of one another and facing the front off to the left a little as well.
The meaning of the piece is that these are things my mother gave me, might outlast her if well taken care of.
I believe the piece isn't the best I could've done and I think it deserves a 47 for the lack of quality and sloppiness of it.
The piece could've been better but it did not work out the way I liked it, I have used charcoal before and made animals way better than I could with it applied to a still life. I used lots of compressed and pencil charcoal as well as the colored one to try and make it look better.I used line color and shape to try and create realism with value.
Scared and Alone
The meaning behind my piece was that there is always fear, and isolation even if you're surrounded by others, it's like when you are trapped in despair and can't get out, you're alone in a baren place.
Cat vase
I created this piece to be used by my mother, and it was rather hard to do, to sculpt out the inside and shape everything. It was made because my mother loves cats and cat mugs, but mine didn't come out right.
Winter Wolf
The wolf I created was for the winter gala, and it is my own style and it was made to show the beauty of winter. It needed a bit more work in the background which I added later.
I made it because it was the best idea that I could come up with.
